The aim of our project is to inform our students of how to achieve an ethical and nutritious diet though keeping healthy plants and animals. The children will be involved in researching the needs of chickens and designing a space that reflects those needs. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include increased student understanding of healthy eating, an increase in our school’s biodiversity and a healthier enclosure for our school chickens.
